A year has begun. And what happen in the beginning of every new year? What Would Kate Moss Do (every February)? Fashion Week! Yes, I know we still have to wait a few more weeks, but the booking of models has already begun. Who will be doing whoes show this year? I can't wait to find out. It's too bad Batlak & Selvig are not going to attend Oslo Fashion Week this year. They will be missed. But, they will do their own show later this spring, so I guess I have something to look forward to during spring as well.

In Norway there's an old rule that you're supposed to make seven different kind of Christmas cakes. Very few people follow this rule, but my family is a bit old fashion that way, so I thought I'd show you some of the things we've made this Christmas:

Even though it's pretty cold and wet in Oslo right now, I simply can't not wear my dresses! Put on several pairs of tights, a big scarf and some water-proof boots and you're ready for the harsh Norwegian winter. Photo shoot from the dressing-rooms after gym-class!

Fashion vs Decoration

Been extremely busy lately.. The Christmas rush has totally begun... And besides, Christmas is the one season where fashion is not the number one subject on my mind. I have to admit, during December I prefer looking at house decorations over shoes, make-up, skin products and clothes. Do you agree? Here are some of the things from the white company that I've had on my mind for the last couple of weeks. You got to admit that I do have a point.

Writer's block

Sometimes I can't find inspiration

for writing my paper or text

my head is all blank in frustration

not knowing what word will come next

I'm typing and nothing comes out there

but meaningless words in a row

just letters, a comma, what nightmare

to watch my stiff fingertips bow

They say I'm afraid of beginning

and not doing perfectly well

that I might not be the one winning

sends my motivation to hell

Then when I was doing some thinking

of how I could get this to mend

I thought of an old proverb saying

"A good start is half-way to end"

So give me the very first sentence

and I know I'll finish it all

it's only this writer's block's defense

that needs to be broken and fall

It's finally December, and Christmas is approaching quickly! Do you know what you want from Santa this year? Here are some of the things I dream about for the moment:
